Bell & Tower Project 2014 – 2015

Thirkleby PCC carried out a two-part project at All Saints in 2014/2015:

1. Repair of the tower windows The tower’s windows were in a poor state of repair, allowing wind and rain to erode the masonry and water to enter the tower.

2. The three existing bells were augmented by two new bells, and one salvaged bell (kindly donated by the Keltek Trust), to make a ring of 6 bells suitable for change ringing. All bells returned from Whitechapel Bell Foundry, London to church on 6 February 2015.
